Trajectories of the Change and the Predictors on Reemployment Desire for the Career Interrupted Woman

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to estimate the trajectory of change of reemployment desire of career Interrupted women and to examine the predictive factors affecting reemployment trajectory of career. Korean welfare panel data were used, and the trajectory of desire and predictive factors were confirmed by applying the latent growth model (LGM). The trajectory of the desire for reemployment of women with career Interrupted showed an increasing trajectory as a linear model over time, and the analysis result of the predictor was as follows. First, depression and family satisfaction were the factors that alleviated the change of reemployment desire of career Interrupted women. The degree of depression was higher in depressed women than in career, and the desire for reemployment was gradually eased as the satisfaction level of family relationship was lower. Second, it was confirmed that life satisfaction and family spouse relationship satisfaction of women with career Interrupted increase the desire for re employment. The results of this study can confirm the causal relationship between the change of psychosocial function experienced by career Interrupted women in our society and the change of reemployment desire according to the passage of time. Based on the results of this study, it is meaningful to suggest the basic intervention data of social welfare aspect that can maximize the success effect of reemployment through inducing positive change of psychosocial function of career Interrupted women.
